QUINCY — The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center invites area community members to attend its Easter weekend events. All events are free and open to the public and will be at The Kroc Center, 405 Vermont.

The Easter weekend begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 29, with a poignant United Good Friday service led by Corps Officers Capts. Rich and Linnea Forney. This service invites attendees to unite in reflection upon the profound sacrifice of Christ for humanity’s salvation. Through contemplation of Christ’s sacrifice, attendees will deepen their appreciation for the new life and hope symbolized by Easter Sunday.

The celebration will continue from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 30, with the Bunny Hop Easter Party. Celebrate Easter with treats, games, crafts, activities and Bible lessons in the Meadows. Easter worship service will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Meadows following breakfast.
