Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge benefitting Special Olympics Illinois set for Feb. 25

QUINCY — The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics Illinois athletes will take place at noon on Sunday, Feb. 25, at QU Stadium, 1301 N. 20th. Registration will begin at 10:45 a.m.

Registered participants must raise a minimum of $100 to plunge and receive a Polar Plunge hooded sweatshirt. People who raise more than $100 may earn other incentives and prizes.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest year-round fundraising vehicle benefiting Special Olympics Illinois, a not-for-profit sports organization offering year-round training and competition in 18 sports for more than 21,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 9,000 athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities.
