Machinists Lodge 822 to host annual Guide Dogs of America fundraiser dance Saturday

QUINCY — Machinists Local Lodge 822 will host its annual fundraiser dance, which benefits Guide Dogs of America, from 7 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Nov. 4. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with live music provided by Hearsay from 8 to midnight.

Food offerings will be sliced smoked pork loin, chili and various finger foods, with a cash bar also available. The evening will include a silent auction of items and baskets, all donated by generous businesses and a gun raffle. Tickets for the gun raffle are available from any Machinists officer and will also be sold at the dance.

Admission is $5. Tickets are being sold in advance at the lodge office or can be bought at the door the night of the event. The lodge is at 2929 N. Fifth.
