Macomb Farmers Market begins 48th year; open Thursdays and Saturdays June through October

MACOMB, Ill. — The Ambassador Committee of the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 1 to celebrate the summer season of the Macomb Farmers Market, now in its 48th year.

Located along Lafayette Street in Chandler Park, the community-run market is the oldest continual downstate farmers market in existence. Featuring a variety of local and regional vendors offering produce, baked goods, honey, snacks, meats, craft items and more, the market runs on Thursdays and Saturdays June through October from 7 a.m.-noon. 

The market vendors now accept Chamber gift certificates.
