Members First Community Credit Union donates $1,761.80 to support Fishing for Freedom

QUINCY — Members First Community Credit Union recently announced a donation of $1,761.80 to Fishing For Freedom, an event dedicated to honoring and supporting local veterans through a meaningful day on the water. Members First is a sponsor of the event.
“This tournament is about more than fishing. It’s about community, healing and gratitude,” Teri McEwen, CEO of Members First, said in a press release. “We are deeply committed to supporting our veterans and the organizations that make a difference in their lives right here at home.”
This donation was made in part through Members First’s Community Card program, a free debit card service offered to members. With every purchase made using a Community Card, a contribution is made to a participating local organization. Members can choose from custom card designs supporting veterans or local schools.
If your organization is interested in becoming a part of the Community Card program, contact Members First Community Credit Union at 217-223-4377.
