Members First Community Credit Union donates more than $1,900 to schools through Community Debit Card Program
QUINCY — Members First Community Credit Union recently announced donations of more than $1,900 to local schools through its Community Debit Card Program.
Quincy Notre Dame joined the program for the first time in 2024 and received more than $140, while Quincy High School, a longstanding participant, received more than $1,800.
The Community Debit Card Program allows Members First to give back with each debit card transaction, directing a portion of every purchase toward causes like local schools or veterans. This is a free program for all Members First members, and switching an existing debit card to a Community Debit Card is quick and easy — at no cost. With each swipe, members can make a meaningful impact on organizations they care about, simply through their daily purchases.
“Our Community Debit Card Program is a powerful way for our members to give back with each transaction,” Teri McEwen, CEO of Members First Community Credit Union, said in a press release. “Every purchase made by our members adds to the support we can provide to local schools and community heroes, helping us to make a difference in the lives of many.”
Schools or local organizations interested in joining the Community Debit Card Program are encouraged to contact Members First Community Credit Union to learn more about joining this initiative.
