Memorial Hospital invites community members to share stories over coffee Tuesday

CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Hospital is inviting the community to gather for a special event, “Share Your Memorial Love: Coffee & Conversations,” from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29 at Mahoney’s Coffee. 1303 Buchanan.

As part of the hospital’s year-long 75th anniversary celebration, this event offers a warm and welcoming space for people to share their personal stories and memories related to Memorial Hospital.

“We’re proud to have served the community for 75 years, and the heart of that history is the people we’ve cared for and worked alongside,” Ada Bair, CEO, said in a press release. “This event is about celebrating those connections and hearing firsthand how Memorial has touched lives throughout the years.”

Guests who share a story during the event will receive a free small Mahoney’s drink (redeemable only at the event) as a token of appreciation. Stories collected will be shared throughout the year as part of Memorial’s 75th anniversary storytelling initiative.

This event is open to the public and free to attend. Commemorative items honoring the anniversary will be sold at the event.
