CARTHAGE, Ill. — Dr. Yoon Hang Kim, chief wellness officer at Memorial Hospital, is a recipient of the 2024 Functional Medicine for All scholarship. Awarded by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), this honor’s ongoing mission is to broaden access to functional medicine, particularly in rural areas.

The Functional Medicine for All scholarship is designed for physicians embarking on their certification journey, focusing on those committed to serving rural and underserved populations. The scholarship marks a significant step in the Memorial Institute of Health and Healing’s efforts to bring advanced healthcare to rural communities.
