Methamphetamine involved in three arrests in Hancock County on April 7

HAMILTON, Ill. — Three methamphetamine-related arrests were made in Hancock County on April 7.

A deputy with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop at 12:02 a.m. on a blue 2010 Ford Explorer at 1015 Broadway in Hamilton for a traffic violation. The driver, Lacey C. Ford, 42, of Kahoka, Mo., was found to be in possession of hypodermic syringes which field tested positive for methamphetamine and controlled substances that were not prescribed to her.

The passenger, Aaron T. Sisson, 43, of Kahoka, Mo., was found to be in possession of a smoking pipe which field tested positive for methamphetamine and controlled substances that were not prescribed to him. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Hancock County Jail.

Deputies then were called to a domestic disturbance at 8:11 p.m. at a campground in Warsaw. Upon arrival and an investigation, the deputies arrested Renny J. McCarty, 32, of Warsaw, for aggravated domestic battery. McCarty also was found to have methamphetamine on him. He was arrested and transported to the Hancock County Jail.
