Miss Quincy Scholarship Program announces call for delegates for pageant set for Jan. 11
QUINCY — The Miss Quincy Scholarship Program is recruiting delegates for the Miss Quincy and Miss Quincy Teen competition, set to take place on Jan. 11 at Quincy Community Theatre.
This event is as an official local preliminary to the Miss America Competition, the largest source of scholarships for women in the United States. The Miss Quincy Scholarship Program is dedicated to empowering young women by providing educational scholarships and life-changing opportunities for personal and professional growth. Through this program, participants gain invaluable experience and compete for the chance to advance to the Miss Illinois and Miss Illinois Teen competitions in Marion from June 25-28.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Miss Quincy — at least 18 years old and no older than 27 on June 25, 2025.
- Miss Quincy’s Teen — at least 14 years old. Important note: Miss America HQ allows 18-year-olds the option for a ‘pivot’ year to choose whether to compete in the Teen or Miss divisions.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, unmarried and have no legal dependents.
- Residency: Must reside in, be enrolled in classes on a full-time basis or be employed full-time in one of the following Illinois counties: Adams, Brown, Pike, Schuyler, Hancock, McDonough, Morgan or Scott.
- Relatives must not be a sponsor, volunteer, judge or official with the Miss Quincy Scholarship Program or any other local or state Miss America Organization preliminary competition.

- Interview: 30%
- Health and Fitness: 20%
- Talent: 20%
- Evening Gown: 20%
- On-Stage Question: 10%
Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the delegate interest form available at MissQuincy.org. The deadline to enter is Nov. 17.
