Model train set on display at the Kibbe Hancock Heritage Museum in December and January

CARTHAGE, Ill. — A large model train set, courtesy of Galen Wollbrink, will be on display at the Kibbe Hancock Heritage Museum, 306 Walnut in Carthage, on from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10; Sunday, Dec. 17; Saturday, Dec. 30; and Sunday, Jan. 7.

For the past several years, model train displays of Wollbrink have been set up at the museum for public viewing beginning with the Carthage Christmas Open House. The displays include villages, people, cars and parks with many active parts.

There is no charge to enter the museum to see the displays. All the other exhibit rooms at the museum will be open for viewing.
