Moore named SIU Center for Family Medicine October Employee of the Month

QUINCY — Lacy Moore, a healthcare administrator, has been named SIU’s October Employee of the Month.

Since joining SIU in April 2023, Moore has impacted patients and staff. Her nominator highlighted her initiative in taking additional classes to help patients sign up for Medicaid and Medicare, expanding access to essential services. Moore has played a role in connecting patients with resources, ensuring their needs are met and providing follow-through.

When asked about her role at SIU, Moore shared in a press release, “What I enjoy the most about the work I do is the opportunity to provide outreach services and truly make an impact with patients. I appreciate the learning opportunities SIU offers and their emphasis on wellness and work-life balance.”
