More space, convenient location prompts Birthright of Quincy to move to 1200 Broadway
QUINCY — Birthright of Quincy, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to serving pregnant women and new mothers, recently moved to 1200 Broadway. An open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, giving the public an opportunity to tour the space, learn more about Birthright’s mission and meet the volunteers behind it.
The new space is a familiar one. Birthright occupied part of this space from 2009 until 2018, when the organization moved to 428 N. Sixth because it had outgrown what was available at the time. When additional space recently became available in the Zanger Realty building, Birthright returned to the 12th and Broadway location.
The new space, in the lower level of the Zanger Realty building, offers more space and a convenient location for clients and volunteers.
Birthright of Quincy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in Quincy in 1973 to help pregnant women overcome the challenges of unplanned pregnancy. Birthright of Quincy is non-political and non-denominational. It is operated by volunteers and operates through donations from the community.
