More than $86,000 in Masonic scholarships available locally for new, returning college students

QUINCY — The Valley of Quincy, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, in conjunction with the Grand Lodge of Illinois of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, will be awarding 41 new and renewal scholarships to local new or returning college students totaling more than $86,000. 

Statewide, more than 449 scholarships will be awarded totaling more than $705,000.  Eligible students may apply for a new or renewal scholarship via an online application process.  Some of the scholarships require a Masonic relationship, but most of the scholarships awarded are to students studying health sciences and do not require a Masonic relationship. 

The applications must be completed and submitted by April 1.
