Mr. K’s Fabric Shop to celebrate 50 years with grand re-opening event Friday and Saturday

QUINCY — Mr. K’s Fabric Shop is having a grand re-opening event to celebrate 50 years in business from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held. Attendees can to explore the newly renovated showroom and enjoy refreshments.

A highlight of the grand re-opening event will be the gift certificate giveaways — first prize, $1,000 gift certificate; second prize, $500 gift certificate; and third prize, $250 gift certificate. Registration for the giveaways must be completed in-store. Drawing for the certificates will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday. Winners do not need to be present to win.

A Hunter Douglas representative will be available all day on Friday to showcase the latest in window treatment solutions and answer questions.

Attendees can enjoy complimentary food and beverages as they shop and celebrate with the staff. Farmhaus Coffee Co. truck will have coffee and lotus drinks available for purchase.

Saturday will offer the opportunity to create and purchase a flower bouquet with Backyard Blooms Bougie Bouquets and More at the Blooms Bar onsite at Mr. K’s.
