People living in southwest portion of Quincy invited to police beat meeting Tuesday at QND

QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department is having a beat meeting for Beats 4 and 5 (south of Broadway and west of 18th Street) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the Quincy Notre Dame cafeteria, 1400 S. 11th.
Chief Adam Yates, Deputy Chief Mike Tyler and Deputy Chief Travis Wiemelt, along with officers working Beats 4 and 5, will answer questions and discuss concerns. Although this meeting addresses Beats 4 and 5, anyone in the community can attend.
One more meeting for Beat 3 will be scheduled later this year.
