BBB recognizes businesses in Pittsfield, New London, Hannibal with Torch Awards

BBB Torch Awards

QUINCY — The Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern & Southwest Missouri & Southern Illinois recently honored three businesses in the Quincy region with Torch Awards. A Torch Award is the most prestigious honor the BBB can present to exceptional organizations for their dedication to integrity and ethical business practices.

“These organizations have truly joined BBB’s mission of advancing marketplace trust in an exemplary way. They are role models for other businesses in the community,” said Don O’Brien, BBB Quincy regional director.

Winners were recognized during socially distanced ceremonies at their offices coordinated by BBB and WGEM-TV.

The companies recognized were:

  • Anderson Autobody is a collision repair and auto detailing business in New London, Mo. “Recognition is truly appreciated from all directions, but one such as the BBB Torch Award is very special,” co-owner Brandon Anderson said.
  • Pike County Glass, in business since 1952, is a full-service automotive, residential and commercial windows and doors contractor in Pittsfield, Ill. “Winning the Torch Award means that during the good and the bad times, we prove ourselves to remain ethical, business oriented and always put the customers first,” owner Trenton Monroe said.
  • Servpro of Hannibal specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after damage. Servpro’s Hannibal, Mo., franchise was established in 2007. “As an owner of a small business, it is an honor to accept this award on behalf of our amazing staff,” owner Les Smith said.
