Pittsfield man arrested for failing to register as a sex offender

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — Chief Deputy Zack Orr with the Pike County Sheriff’s Department recently conducted a criminal investigation into a violation of the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act.
After an investigation, David L. Allen, 51, of Pittsfield was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Allen was cited and released per the SAFE-T Act.
