Public input sought at Wednesday’s meeting for master plan to improve Macomb’s Chandler Park
MACOMB, Ill. — Community members are invited to a planning meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, to share thoughts and ideas on ways to improve Chandler Park.
The meeting will be held in the community room at Macomb City Hall, 232 E. Jackson. The meeting will also offer information about the ongoing master planning process.
The City of Macomb has partnered with Farnsworth Group to develop a master plan to help guide renovations at Chandler Park.
The master planning process will:
- Incorporate community input
- Gather and analyze historical information and site data
- Assess current park conditions and programming needs
- Provide infrastructure, programming, amenities, and facilities recommendations
- Layout site plan to include proposed renovations
- Develop a project budget and phasing plan to help the city implement the project
