QMG to honor National Cancer Survivors Day with Hope Grows Here event on June 1

QUINCY — In recognition of National Cancer Survivors Day, Quincy Medical Group (QMG) and the QMG Foundation invite the community to Hope Grows Here, a special event honoring people who have faced or are facing a cancer diagnosis, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, at the QMG Cancer Institute, 3301 Broadway.

“Every survivor’s story is a powerful reminder of hope,” said Morgan Parker, director of community relations and foundation at QMG, in a press release. “This event is a time to honor their strength, share hope and surround them with the love of this incredible community.”

Hope Grows Here is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to connect with other survivors, create a flower bouquet with Momma Bee’s Garden and enjoy a sweet treat at the Grace’s Place ice cream sundae bar.
