QUINCY — The Quincy Family YMCA recently announced several key leadership transitions within its organization.

Kristen Lay, formerly director of business operations, will now serve as the director of marketing and development while also overseeing human resources. Her expertise in operational management, coupled with her strategic vision, is expected to bolster marketing and development efforts.

Garth Salisbury, previously the director of sports programming, will assume the role of director of finance. His financial insight and understanding of the organization’s fiscal landscape position him to lead the YMCA’s financial strategies.

Other changes are:

  • Christina Powell was appointed as the branch director of the Western Community YMCA.
  • Isaac Alva has transitioned from director of membership to director of youth and family.
  • Robin Carlson is the new membership director.
  • Jacob Obert now is the wellness coordinator.
  • Erica Broekemeier is the new marketing assistant.

The YMCA also extended appreciation to Beth McKenzie, who served as the wellness director for the past two years. She remains on staff.
