Quincy Family YMCA, Kelly’s Tavern prepare for 41st annual fun run/walk on March 10

QUINCY — The Quincy Family YMCA and Kelly’s Tavern announce the 41st annual Kelly’s Fun Run/Walk at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 10, at Kelly’s Tavern. Participants will walk or run the 5K course through the heart of Quincy, all while supporting vital health and wellness programs at the YMCA.

The race offers:

• A scenic 5K course with mostly flat with slight hills winding through historic Maine Street.
• Open to all ages and abilities. Strollers are welcome too.
• Age and gender divisions receive awards for top finishers in each category.
• Live music, refreshments and a festive atmosphere.
• All proceeds benefit the YMCA’s healthy living programs, ensuring our community thrives.

Sponsors are Kelly’s Tavern, Muddy River News and Sports, Michelob Ultra, Gem City Pizzeria and Mexican, Tower Pizza and Mexican and The Abbey.

Early bird registration fee through Feb. 27 is $25. Registrations completed Feb. 28-March 10 will be $35. Registration can be completed at https://raceroster.com/events/2024/84470/2024-kellys-fun-runwalk or by visiting the Quincy Family YMCA front desk. Registration can be completed from 8 to 9 a.m. on race day at Kelly’s Tavern. Participants can pick up their shirts and race bibs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 8, at the Quincy Family YMCA or before the race on Sunday, March 10, at Kelly’s Tavern.
