Quincy Family YMCA’s annual campaign kicks off Tuesday, runs through June 13

QUINCY — The Quincy Family YMCA is launching its annual campaign, “What is Your Y?”, at noon on Tuesday, March 11, and it will run through June 13.
The campaign a call to the community to reflect on the role the Y plays in their lives and the lives of those around them. This campaign is a lifeline for local families, children and people who rely on the Y for wellness, connection and opportunity.
“The YMCA is more than just a gym. It’s a safe haven for children to grow, a second home for families, and a place where neighbors lift each other up,” CEO Curtis Sethaler said in a press release. “This campaign is about ensuring that no one is turned away due to financial hardship. It’s about strengthening our community, one person, one family and one program at a time.”
Funds raised through this campaign support:
- Youth development programs, providing a safe space where children can learn, build confidence and develop leadership skills.
- Financial assistance, ensuring that families, seniors and people can access memberships, summer camps and after-school programs, regardless of financial circumstances.
- Community initiatives, expanding outreach efforts to promote healthy living, social responsibility and inclusion.
