Quincy Humane Society to be host of Mutt Strut on Sept. 30 at South Park

QUINCY — One of the largest fundraising events of the year for the Quincy Humane Society is the Mutt Strut: Furry Fiesta, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30, at South Park. Registration starts at 9 a.m., and the event starts at 10 a.m.

After a traditional one-mile walk through South Park. the remainder of the morning has fun activities for dogs and their families, pet contests, pet-friendly vendors and a demonstration from the Quincy Kennel Club.

Proceeds from the Mutt Strut help the Quincy Humane Society provide quality care for animals and help them find a second chance at love.

Registration is open now. In-person pre-registration will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Quincy Humane Society Community Room.
