Quincy Medical Group expands dermatology team with new physician

QUINCY — Patients seeking expert skin care now have expanded access at Quincy Medical Group (QMG) with the addition of board-certified dermatologist Dr. Austin Maddy.

In a press release, Maddy said, “I believe every patient deserves to feel happy, healthy and confident in their skin. I am committed to listening, educating and working closely with each individual to find the best path forward for their unique skin care needs.”

Maddy treats acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer, actinic keratosis and hair loss. He also provides skin cancer screenings and ongoing care for patients with skin cancer. Maddy is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Originally from Utah, Maddy earned his bachelor of arts in chemistry with a minor in business from the University of Utah. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident.
