QUINCY — The Quincy Medical Group Foundation Cancer Crush, held on April 5, reached a monumental milestone by raising more than $100,000 toward assisting local cancer patients with basic living expenses.

For those facing the daunting reality of a cancer diagnosis, each dollar raised through events like Cancer Crush represents support and possibility. From assisting with rent/mortgage, utilities and transportation, the QMG Foundation can impact the lives of patients and their loved ones.

“We are immensely grateful to announce this milestone and our commitment to providing comprehensive support to local patients, ensuring they receive the financial assistance they need during the navigation of their cancer journey,” said Morgan Parker, director of community relations at QMG, in a press release.

“Every dollar raised allows us to financially support local patients with basic living expenses, and, ultimately, offer hope to those in our community fighting this disease. The significance of this achievement extends far beyond mere numbers; it embodies the collective spirit of compassion, solidarity and determination that defines our community. It is a testament to the power of individuals coming together to make a difference, one donation at a time.

“It’s because of all of you we celebrate this milestone. So let’s also reaffirm our commitment to supporting those affected by cancer and that our funding and care will extend throughout the year, not just around our Cancer Crush fundraiser.”

The QMG Foundation accepts donations all year to allow the organization to make continuous strides toward helping even more patients. Join the QMG Foundation’s efforts and donate today by visiting https://quincymedgroup.com/foundation/.
