QUINCY — Quincy Medical Group recently hired Dr. Tarek A. Chahine, a family practice physician who cares for patients of all ages, to join its QMG Keokuk team.

In a press release, Chahine said, “I look forward to providing high quality, custom care to every patient, with the goal of improving the overall health of Keokuk and the surrounding communities.”

Chahine earned a bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in psychology from the University of Michigan. He then attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich., where he earned his doctor of medicine degree. Following medical school, Chahine completed his residency training in family medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital in Rochester Hills, Mich.

“I treat each patient as though they were a member of my own family,” Chahine said. “This means I never recommend anything that I wouldn’t recommend to the people I love.”

Chahine joins Dr. Craig Davenport, Kristin Pullins and Christina Kelly at the QMG Keokuk Clinic.

The clinic, 1603 Morgan, Suite 3, offers primary care, urgent care and specialty care. To schedule an appointment, call 319-524-4300 or visit quincymedgroup.com/Keokuk.
