Quincy Medical Group welcomes new ear, nose and throat physician

QUINCY — Quincy Medical Group (QMG) recently announced the addition of Dr. Mary Doellman, an otolaryngologist specializing in treating ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions and concerns for patients of all ages.

Doellman always knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She developed a passion for ENT while in medical school.

“I’ve always loved being around people. When I started medical school, I realized how much I like hands-on work. Surgery was a natural fit,” Doellman said in a press release. “I really connected with the ENT field because it combines technical skills with building strong relationships with patients. It’s great getting to know them over time.”

Doellman earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa. She completed her residency in otolaryngology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, Texas, and an internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Doellamn is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Doellman’s personal experience with ENT issues gives her a deeper understanding of her patients’ concerns.

“I’ve had my share of ear, nose and throat issues. I had tubes and had my tonsils and adenoids removed, so I truly understand what patients and their families go through. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how much better their lives become after treatment,” she said.
