Quincy Police Department to conduct testing for open position on Aug. 17; application deadline is July 26

QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department is accepting applications for an opening on the police force. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 26.

Applications are available online at https://www.quincypolicedepartment.com/employment/, at the Quincy Police Department, 530 Broadway, by emailing the police department at coqqpd@quincyil.gov or at Quincy City Hall, 730 Maine, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The application must be returned to the Board of Fire and Police Commission, 730 Maine, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26.

Testing will be held Saturday, Aug. 17. The physical agility demonstration will be at 9 a.m. at Flinn Stadium, 4400 Maine. The written test will be at 1 p.m. at the Quincy Regional Training Facility, 1900 Seminary Road.
