Quincy Police Department to hold beat meeting for Beat 2 on Tuesday

QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department invites the community to an upcoming beat meeting and recruitment opportunity at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24 in the Hall of Fame Room at Quincy University, 20th and Oak. Those attending should enter using the door facing east.

All community members are welcome, but the meeting will focus on residents and businesses north of Broadway and east of 18th Street. Officers who work this beat will be in attendance.

Additional beat meetings will be scheduled in the upcoming months.

Anyone interested in becoming a Quincy police officer is encouraged to stop by and talk with Sgt. Nathan Elbus, who will have applications on hand and willing to answer any questions.
