Quincy Public Library’s Friends of the Library bi-annual book sale runs through Saturday

QUINCY — The Friends of the Quincy Public Library’s bi-annual book sale is taking place through Saturday, April 27 in the large meeting room of the library, 526 Jersey, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Books range from fiction and non-fiction to travel guides, history books, children’s literature, romance, cookbooks, gardening, religion, politics and coffee table books.

Most books are priced at a mere 50 cents per inch. This incredible offer allows avid readers to stock up on their favorite titles without breaking the bank. A variety of DVDs and CDs also will be on sale.

All proceeds from the sale will directly benefit the Quincy Public Library, supporting vital programs and services for the local community.

“We are thrilled to welcome book enthusiasts from near and far to our bi-annual book sale,” Executive Director Kathleen Helsabeck said in a press release. “This event is not only a fantastic opportunity to discover literary treasures but also a chance to support our beloved library and its mission to provide resources and services to all members of our community.”
