Quincy University to be site of eighth annual balloon glow Thursday night

QUINCY — Quincy University will once again light up Friars’ Field, 20th and College, with 10 hot air balloons on Thursday, Sept. 28. This free, family-friendly event will start at 5 p.m. The balloons will light up from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Food and beverages will be sold from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Participating vendors are TCBY, 8te Open, Tasty J’s, Melton’s Concessions, Wine on Broadway, Hebrews XI Coffee, Lemonade Factory, The Pizza Wagon, Tri-State SnoBiz, Sugarbug Cotton Candy, Platt Daddy BBQ,and Smoothie King.

The balloons will take off from Friars’ Field at daybreak on Friday, Sept. 29.
