QUINCY — The Quincy University Admissions Department will offer a how-to session for parents of high school students (not just those who will attend QU) at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, in Francis Hall on QU’s main campus.

College 101: A How-To for Parents features sessions to explain and add clarity to the college search process. Participants will get a foundation on how to conduct a college search and learn how college can be affordable.

“College 101 will explore the value and affordability of undergraduate education and share strategies for maximizing success during the college search process,” said Justin Ray, dean of admissions.

Sessions will include information on how to navigate the changing landscape of higher education including the FAFSA. These sessions are ideal for parents of first generation college students.

Admissions and Student Financial Services professionals will be on hand to answer questions.

Registration is required to attend. Register at https://www.quincy.edu/admissions/parents-night/.
