Rober & Phillips hires Quincy native as associate attorney
QUINCY — Rober & Phillips, a Quincy law firm, recently announced the hiring of Logan E. Giesing as an associate attorney.
During her law school studies, Logan worked as a law clerk at the Adams County Courthouse in 2022 and clerked at Rober Law (now Rober & Phillips) in 2023. She accepted a full-time position at Rober & Phillips after successfully passing her Illinois Bar examination.
While pursuing her degree in theater at Illinois College, Giesing remained interested in the practice of law. She decided to pursue that interest in 2020 and began studying for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). After completion of the LSAT, she attended Southern Illinois University School of Law in the fall of 2021 and took courses specializing in litigation and dispute resolution. At SIU Law, Giesing was the president of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and was a Moot Court board member. She participated in Moot Court competitions for SIU across the country.
Giesing is practicing in her hometown of Quincy. She has a younger brother, William, a medical doctor practicing in Texas, where he lives with his wife, Carly.
When she is not practicing law, Logan enjoys listening to true crime/paranormal podcasts, spending time with her boyfriend, Jeffrey Obert, reading, watching “The Office” and playing with her corgi and cats.
