Safe and Livable Housing Committee adds two sessions of tenant workshop; next meeting is Thursday

QUINCY — The Safe and Livable Housing Committee has added two new sessions of the tenant workshop to its agenda.

The topic of the next meeting is Strength: Physical, Mental and Financial. It is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Vermont Street United Methodist Church, 818 Vermont. Anyone renting a house or apartment is encouraged to attend.

A homemade dinner including dessert and snacks will be served along with a $25 gift card given to all tenants who complete each session. Those attending are encouraged to bring their bills and a simple budget will be handed out for discussion.

A third session will be held on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 5:30 p.m. The topic of this session will be Wholeness, Resources, Organization and Harmony.
