Perry, Ill. man found alive after Silver Alert

UPDATE: Mr Boston was located, alive. He is being transported to the hospital. 

PERRY, Ill. — The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is asking for assistance on locating a missing person.

The missing person is 82-year-old Ronald Boston of Perry. Boston is 5’10” and weighs 285 pounds. Mr. Boston left his residence at 9:00 AM in Perry to drive to a 10:45 AM doctor’s appointment in Springfield Illinois. He never arrived.

Boston is driving a 2016 maroon-colored Jeep Cherokee bearing an Illinois License Plate of WT16.

The Illinois State Police has issued a Silver Alert.
