SIU Center for Family Medicine names Cannell as July Employee of the Month

QUINCY — The SIU Center for Family Medicine Quincy recently announced Amy Cannell as the July Employee of the Month.

Cannell, a Healthcare Administrator I, has been with the SIU Center team since October 2020. She tracks measurable requirements for Quincy’s family medicine residency program. She handles purchasing accounts, accounts payable, payroll and participating in various employee activities and committees, including the Christmas committee.

In a press release, Cannell said, “The people I work with daily have made my job enjoyable to come to every day. It’s also gratifying to witness the growth of our resident physicians during their time at SIU Quincy and to see them graduate and move on to their careers.”
