Tracy Family Foundation’s WCIL Gives event to raise support for more than 80 organizations

QUINCY — WCIL Gives, a four-day online giving event sponsored by the Tracy Family Foundation (TFF), will be held from Monday through Thursday, June 9-12.
This initiative will provide a platform for community members to explore and donate to causes that inspire them, supporting the vital work of more than 80 nonprofits, churches, and schools serving West Central Illinois.
Much like “Giving Tuesday” and similar community fundraising initiatives, WCIL Gives offers a way to discover and donate to a wide range of causes, from arts and culture to education, health, and social services.
“The generosity of our region amazes me,” Callie Niederhauser, TFF Program Manager said in a press release. “WCIL Gives is an opportunity to highlight this generosity by supporting organizations that uplift and empower our communities.”
The Tracy Family Foundation’s sponsorship ensures that 100 percent of donations made through WCIL Gives will go directly to the participating nonprofits. This maximizes the impact of every gift. With $25,000 in prizes at stake, TFF hopes the event sparks a spirit of friendly competition and community pride.
“WCIL Gives is more than a fundraising event. It’s a celebration of community and a testament to the power of collective giving,” TFF President Dan Teefey. “By coming together to support our local nonprofits, we can create a stronger, more vibrant West Central Illinois.”
Visit www.wcilgives.org starting Monday through 11:59 p.m. Thursday. Browse participating nonprofits, churches, and schools and learn about their missions, then choose the organizations you want to support and make a donation online.
Follow the event on social media using the hashtag #wcilgives.
The Tracy Family Foundation (TFF) was established in 1997 by the Robert and Dorothy Tracy family to help communities thrive and families flourish in Brown County and the surrounding region through organizations that impact education, youth, families, mental health and Brown County.
