Troop 99, Pack 99 to hold pancake, sausage, biscuits and gravy breakfast Saturday at Melrose Chapel

QUINCY — The friends and family of Troop 99 & Pack 99 of Melrose Chapel United Methodist Church of Quincy will hold its third annual pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, in the church fellowship hall at 3600 Payson Road.

The all you can eat breakfast will feature freshly made pancakes, fresh ground local pork sausage, hot biscuits and sausage gravy. Prices are $10 per person. Children age 5 and younger are free.

The Scouts are taking this opportunity to help others while being helped by the community. A $1 discount is available with any type of shelf-stable food donation which will be distributed to a local food bank after the event.

The breakfast is sponsored by the friends and family of Troop 99 and Pack 99, which is chartered to Melrose Chapel United Methodist Church. The proceeds will be used to fund various activities for the pack and troop.

Troop 99 is known as the “Cooking Troop” and has taken top honors in several cooking competitions. The breakfast was formerly hosted by United Methodist Men of Melrose Chapel.
