Two Rivers Regional Council to offer assistance for dislocated workers on Wednesday, Friday

QUINCY — The Quincy Workforce Center, 107 N. Third, in partnership with Two Rivers Regional Council and the Illinois Department of Employment Security, is the site of a walk-in event from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 26, and from 1 to 4 p.m on Friday, March 28, to assist people looking for a job.

This event is focused on dislocated employees from Joann Fabrics, Firehouse Subs and Big Lots. However, all dislocated employees are invited to attend.

For additional assistance with resume writing, unemployment application support, career training, employment workshops, assistance with tuition for those on unemployment and more, visit the Quincy Workforce Center. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
