U.S. News & World Report rates Blessing Hospital as high performer for sixth consecutive year

QUINCY — For the sixth consecutive year, Blessing Hospital has been named a “High Performing Hospital” by U.S. News & World Report as part of its 2024-2025 Best Hospitals report.

High Performing Hospital is the highest distinction a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedure and Condition ratings. The ratings are designed to assist patients in making informed decisions about where to receive care for health conditions or elective procedures.

Of the nearly 5,000 U.S. hospitals that U.S. News evaluated, Blessing Hospital is among only 38 percent that earned a “High Performing” rating.

Blessing earned High Performing Hospital recognition in the following areas of care:

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Colon cancer surgery
• Heart attack
• Heart failure

U.S. News evaluated nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. Hospitals awarded a designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.
