QUINCY — The first United Way of Adams County “Partners in Bloom” event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, at Town & Country Inn & Suites.

The public is invited to explore the imaginative interpretations of the area’s finest florists as they showcase their talents of floral displays inspired by the logos of United Way of Adams County and 17 partner agencies. The event coincides with the United Way of Adams County 86th annual meeting to be held that same evening.

In a press release, Jenna Hull, executive director of United Way of Adams County, said, “Our community is aware that United Way addresses the needs of those in Adams County, and what we want to showcase at Partners in Bloom are the 17 partner agencies that make that happen.”

For just $5, attendees will have the opportunity to experience this unique occasion and cast their votes for their favorite floral display. Each entry ticket includes five voting tickets, allowing attendees to support their preferred designs.

Bank of Springfield, Hair by Kristopher’s and the following florists are sponsoring the event: Creative Garden Solutions, the Flower Girl, Holtschlag, Hy-Vee, Lavish, Niemann’s, Ruthie Bea’s, The Right Touch, Trav’s Flowers and Wellman Florist.
