Vacation Bible School at Luther Memorial Church begins Monday

QUINCY — Christ Lutheran Church and Luther Memorial Church invite children and youth to SCUBA VBS: Diving into Friendship with God! SCUBA is for children ages 4 to 12 and will meet at Luther Memorial, 1210 Jersey, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 8-12.

The first four days will be spent exploring what it means to have a friendship with God. Children will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love and test out fun science experiments that get imagination bubbling.

Children will also learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Fintastic Finale that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 8:10 p.m.

Participants and their families are invited to a BBQ on July 12 to celebrate the end of the week.
