WGCA The Mix to be host of 37th annual Sharathon fundraising drive beginning Wednesday
QUINCY — WGCA The Mix will ask listeners to partner with them during its 37th annual Sharathon fundraising drive, which starts Wednesday, Oct. 23, and ends Friday, Oct. 25.
WGCA has been the home of local Christian radio and positive hits since 1987. The station is listener-supported, so the Sharathon is essential to keep the radio station going.
In a press release, Bob Daly, executive director of The Mix, said, “We are proud to continue the rich tradition of providing contemporary Christian music and providing uplifting and encouragement to the area. We are looking forward to and relying on the support of our community to keep us going for the next year.”
Donations can be made at WGCA.org.
WGCA has local on-air personalities all day. Its live and local morning show, The Morning Mix, can be heard from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday-Friday. The radio station is available to listeners on 88.5 FM, at WGCA.org or on its free Mix mobile app.
