The John Wood Community College Board of Trustees supported freezing tuition rates and fees for the 2021-22 academic year during their meeting on April 28. The meeting was conducted in-person and virtually as permitted by the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The current tuition rates per credit hour for in-district, out-of-district and online instruction will remain the same for the 2021-22 academic year. This is the fifth straight year JWCC has frozen the base tuition rate for students.
“Providing accessible education at an exceptional value is part of our mission and it contributes to students’ success now and later in life.” JWCC President Michael Elbe said. “After a challenging year for our nation, there is still a real economic impact for our area. By freezing tuition rates, this is one way we can help students pursue and achieve their educational goals.”
