Thursday morning fire in Hannibal listed as incendiary; no injuries reported

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal Fire Department crews were dispatched for a structure fire at 1225 S. Arch at 5:35 a.m. Thursday, June 9.

All three stations responded with 12 firefighters. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fire on the front porch of the residence. No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The fire was investigated by members of the Hannibal Fire Department, Hannibal Police Department and Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office. It is being listed as incendiary. Individuals with information concerning the fire at 1225 S. Arch can call the Missouri Arson Hotline at 1-800-392-7766.

HFD was assisted by Hannibal Police Department, Hannibal Building Inspector’s Office, Marion County Ambulance, Hannibal Board of Public Works and Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office.
