American Legion Riders Chapter 55 poker run Saturday to assist with hats, gloves for Hannibal children

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The American Legion Riders Chapter 55 third annual poker run will be held Saturday, May 11. The poker run will start and end at 3819 Highway MM.

Registration will be held at 11 a.m., with the poker run at 12:15 p.m. This ride will be 125 miles, covering Bowling Green and up through Mark Twain Lake to Monroe City and ending at the American Legion in Hannibal. Stops along the route are Southside Bar, Goodfellas, Hitching Post and the Dug Out.

The cost to participate is $10 per rider and $10 per passenger. An extra hand cost is $5, and an extra card cost is $5.

Prizes awarded for best worst hand are first place-$100, second place-$50 and third place-$10. Twenty riders are needed for the full payout. A 50/50 raffle will be offered. All proceeds will assist with the purchase of hats and gloves for Hannibal children.
