American Legion to hold Youth Day on Saturday in Hannibal

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The American Legion has celebrated April as “Children Youth Month” for the past 78 years by supporting and promoting its national theme of “Children, Our Most Precious Natural Resource.”

To show the legion’s commitment to young people, a free Youth Day event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. The American Legion baseball team will be offering a pork steak dinner during the day. Cost is $12 for a meal of pork steak, potato salad, baked beans, roll, dessert and drink.
