Beginning and experienced bird watchers welcome at bird walk Saturday at Sodalis Nature Preserve

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal Parks and Recreation is offering a bird walk from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Sodalis Nature Preserve.

The bird walk will be led by Hannibal Parks and Recreation’s Nature Interpreter Gale Rublee and members of the Mississippi Hills Missouri Master Naturalist chapter.

Registration can be completed at www.hannibalparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program

Participants are asked to bring binoculars and check out the Merlin bird app for learning bird calls. Beginner and experienced birders are welcome.
