CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College invites prospective students to learn more about the campus community during a special event set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9.

The college’s annual “Explore the Roar” day allows high school students to see the campus, meet with faculty, students and staff, and ask questions about the opportunities available at C-SC.

In a press release, Melanie Lechtenberg, vice president for enrollment management, said, “Selecting a college after graduation is a very important decision and can sometimes feel overwhelming. That is why we feel it is essential to give students an opportunity to experience campus life up close and personal during this special event. Visitors will have a chance to become more familiar with our hands-on learning approach and our unique 12+3 academic calendar structure while participating in fun activities and enjoying the views from the Hill.”

The day will begin with a campus tour with a Wildcat ambassador, followed by a question-and-answer session with C-SC admissions counselors. Students will break into divisional activities at 11:20 a.m, before they have lunch on campus at 12:30 p.m. Visitors during the event will have the option to stay for a special Fine Arts Day event from 1 to 3 p.m. on campus.

Registration for “Explore the Roar” is required and can be made by visiting culver.edu/visit. All questions can be directed to the Admissions Office at 800-537-1883.
